MOU signed between Fast CABLES Limited & UET Mardan
This report constitutes an agreement between Fast Cables Limited and University of Engineering & Technology, Mardan promoting economic development amongst the Students. This MOU is signed by Engr. Haseeb Ahmad Khan, Deputy Registrar (Academic) on behalf of the UET, Mardan and Mr. Saleem Akhtar Qadri from fast Cables Limited on 28-09-2019, at University of Engineering & Technology, Mardan.
Objective
The objective of this MOU is to express the willingness of both parties to engage in an effort to promote the competitiveness of Bright Students as well as its activities to develop and expand relationships with both parties.
Specific activities under this MOU’s were identified through consultation between the two parties.
Fast Cables Limited agrees to provide technical assistance, Internship, and job opportunity to assist students of UET, Mardan to carry out activities that will improve or expand the support they provide to improve its competitiveness. As a preliminary activity, Fast Cables Limited will conduct a strategic planning exercise with Students to review their outgrowing operations. The results of this exercise will assist students of UET, Mardan with the implementation of its operations and will help identify areas where Fast Cables Limited can provide capacity building support. After finalizing the strategic planning session, technical and financial support agreements for specific activities will be developed through a participatory process.
Technical and Financial Support: This MOU is developed for specific technical and financial support activities. This Addendums will provide a prize of PKR-100,000, to the students securing Gold Medal among the passing out batch of electrical Engineering Class through “Fatima Latif Welfare Trust”.
Coordination: In order to carry out and fulfill the aims of this agreement, Fast Cables Limited will participate in Jobs Fairs and will appoint/hire an appropriate Student(s) to represent its organization and to coordinate the implementation of activities.
Purpose and Provisions:
This MOU will serve the following goals of the partnership:
- To provide award to one talented graduate student of UET Mardan per year.
- To provide internship opportunities for the students and graduates of UET Mardan.
- To provide hiring and placement opportunities for the graduates of UET Mardan.
