19th Syndicate Meeting at UET Mardan
On January 3, 2025, 19th meeting of the Syndicate, UET Mardan was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Imran Khan, Vice-Chancellor, UET Mardan. The attendees included external members: Justice (Rtd) Ms. Irshad Qaiser, Nominee of Peshawar High Court, Peshawar, Prof. Dr. Jamil Ahmad, Nominee of Chairman HEC Islamabad, Mr. Riaz Muhammad, Deputy Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Miss. Wardah Latif, Deputy Secretory, Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Muhammad Irfan Usman, Deputy Secretory, Establishment Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ; and internal members: Prof. Dr. Sadaqat Jan Professor, Department of Computer Software Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ibrar Ali Shah, Chairman, Department of Computer Software Engineering, Dr. Murtaza Ali, Registrar, Engr. The meeting addressed critical matters focused on effective financial management, quality of education, strategic planning, aiming to ensure the university's fiscal stability and future growth.
Furthermore, the Syndicate thoroughly reviewed and granted approval to the recommendations put forth by the Finance & Planning Committee and Academic Council regarding financial sustainability and strengthening the quality of education and research at UET Mardan.
