The Department of Computer Science, University of Engineering & Technology Mardan proudly launched a program “Career Launchpad: Transforming Students into Industry Professionals”. This groundbreaking initiative bridges the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with real-world experience, technical skills development, and professional mentorship.
The program aims to provide students with an office-like environment, enabling them to work under the guidance of industry mentors after their classes. Representatives of industries appreciated the initiative of the Chairman, Department of Computer Science and ensured full support and cooperation.
Prof. Dr. Sadaqat Jan, Ex-Dean/Professor Department of Computer Software Engineering was Chief Guest on the occasion. Director Academics, heads of the departments, representative of various software industries and faculty members of the department of Computer Science graced the ceremony. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Usman, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science, provided a brief introduction to the program, highlighting its vision to bridge the gap between academia and industry. He elaborated on the roadmap to making this event a success and thanked the industry partners for their invaluable support in shaping the future of the students.
