UET Mardan Congratulates Dr. Saba Hassan on Successfully Defended her Ph.D Thesis
The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Mardan, is pleased to announce that on 23rd November 2024, Dr. Saba Hassan, Lecturer in the Department of Natural Sciences & Humanities, successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis titled "Gender Oppression & Marginalization: A Comparative Post-Colonial Feminist View of the Selected Pakistani Novels".
Dr. Saba Hassan presented her groundbreaking research during a public seminar, where her work underwent rigorous evaluation by an esteemed Examination Committee comprising renowned scholars. The committee included her internal supervisor, Dr. Abdul Hamid, Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Qurtaba University, Peshawar, who provided expert mentorship, and the external examiner, Prof. Dr. Qaiser Khan, Head of the Department of English at Malakand University.
In addition to this achievement, Dr. Saba has published ten research papers in internationally recognized impact-factor journals, two of which are directly based on her Ph.D. research. Her contributions represent a significant step forward in the fields of gender studies and post-colonial literature.
