UET Mardan and Fast Cables Sign MoU to enhance Student Employability and Industry Collaboration
On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, UET Mardan took another step forward with Fast Cables by signing an MoU. This MoU will enable students of UET Mardan to start working immediately after they graduate from the institute. The ceremony was held in the pleasant environment of the Vice Chancellor's office at UET Mardan, attended by a delegation from Fast Cables, including Mr. Ghulam Yasin, Regional Business Manager North; Afrasyab Khan, Senior Manager North; Syed Sikandar Shah, Branch Manager Peshawar; and Shahzad Maqsood, Senior Area Sales Manager. Dr. Muhammad Usman, Registrar UET Mardan; Dr. Jawad Ali, Manager Industrial Linkages UET Mardan; Dr. Tariq Sadaad, Director ORIC; and Dr. Murtaza Ali Bangash, Treasurer UET Mardan, were also present at the signing ceremony.
Fast Cables not only facilitates students in integrating with the industry but also provides financial assistance, including a sum of PKR 1 lakh to the first position holder of the graduating batches. Fast Cables and UET Mardan expect future collaboration to utilize resources effectively, thereby enhancing the employability of engineers and optimizing the productivity of the firm.
