Seminar on Cryptography and Information Security: Long Term Challenges
An insightful seminar titled "Cryptography and Information Security: Long Term Challenges" was organized by the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at UET Mardan on May 9, 2024, in Seminar Hall UET Mardan, featuring Dr. Sahib Khan, Assistant Professor, TED. The seminar emphasized the importance and role of Cryptography in Information Security, Data Integrity, and user authentication. The audience was introduced to state-of-the-art algorithms used to ensure the security, integrity, and authentication of information and users. It was stressed that with the advancement of communication technology, communication systems face several crucial challenges, requiring continuous effort to encounter these challenges securely.
