In a significant development, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Ullah, the Vice Chancellor of UET Mardan, visited the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Islamabad on 17th April 2023, to discuss financial matters with some top officials. The meeting was attended by some prominent personalities, including Prof. Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, the Honorable Chairman of HEC, Prof. Dr. Shaista Sohail, the Executive Director of HEC, and Miss Samina Durrani, DG Finance. Also present were senior officials from the University, including Dr. Murtaza Ali, Treasurer, Engr. Sajjad Ali, Director P&D, and Mr. Abdul Hafeez, DD Budget.The financial matters of UET Mardan were discussed in detail during the meeting. Subsequently, the Chairman and Executive Director of HEC have assured that the commission is aware and committed to resolving the financial issues of UET Mardan.
