University of Engineering & Technology Mardan organized a solidarity walk from Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat to the New Academic Block to show solidarity with Kashmiris and condemned the brutalities of Indian armed forces in Kashmir, Vice-Chancellor led the walk, Prof. Dr. Shahid Khattak and Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Ullah along with heads of departments, and students. Moreover, the Pakistani and Kashmiri flags were hoisted on Campus and observed a one-minute silence. While addressing the participants the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Khattak expressed that the event has been arranged to show support and unity with the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir, their ongoing freedom struggle, and to pay homage to Kashmiri martyrs who lost their lives fighting for Kashmir’s freedom.

At last, a declamation contest among different departments was held at Seminar Hall wherein a student of the Department of Natural Sciences & Humanities, Aqsa Khan stood first, Awais Gohar, Department of Electrical Engineering grabbed the second position and Muhammad Zakarya stood third from the Department of Civil Engineering UET Mardan.
