Zero Visit of Civil and Mechanical Engineering Department
Pakistan Engineering Council conducted a Zero visit of the Civil and Mechanical Engineering department on 12th-13th August 2021. The faculty members and staff of these departments welcomed the representatives along with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shahid Khan Khattak, Pro. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Sadiq Ullah and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Prof. Dr. Sadaqat Jan, and had an introductory session in the conference hall. During the rest of this visit, the PEC officials thoroughly visited the dedicated buildings for the Civil and Mechanical Engineering departments. The evaluators admired the newly established Civil and Mechanical Engineering laboratories. Note that some shared labs from the Electrical Engineering and Software Engineering departments were also visited.
The conduction of zero visits assures the adequate facilities, staff, and infrastructure available in an institute before the commencement of classes as well as allows induction of students after taking NOC from relevant authorities.
These said departments are likely to start their first intake during the B.Sc. admission call for Fall 2021-22.
