CDWP Approves Development Project for UET Mardan Worth 2.5 Billion
In a recent CDWP meeting, held on 25 May 2021 presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Dr. Mohammad Jehanzeb Khan, approved Project namely "construction/development of basic infrastructure of newly upgraded University (University of Engineering &Technology Mardan) worth Rs. 2.50 Billion. Meanwhile, senior officials from the planning commission, federal ministries/divisions, representatives from the provincial government, Vice-chancellor UET Mardan Dr. Shahid Khattak, and his technical team participated while Executive Director, Higher Education commission Dr. Shaista Sohail participated through video conference. After a detailed discussion, the forum collectively approved the project for the strengthening and establishment of UET Mardan; the second public sector engineering university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
