Laptop distribution ceremony held at UET Mardan
The ceremony of laptop distribution among the students of Electrical, Telecom, Computer Software Engineering departments of University of Engineering & Technology (UET) Mardan under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, phase-IV, was held at the university main campus on Tuesday November 27, 2018.
Pro-Vice Chancellor UET Mardan, Dr. Imran Khan was the chief guest of the ceremony while Engr. Fahim Ullah Khan, Engr. Sheraz Khan, and Engr. Khadim Ullah Jan Focal Person PM Laptops along with large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr. Imran Khan said “the government is fully aware of the importance of the educated youth and committed to equip them with modern day’s technologies”. “Youth is our asset and pillars of the nation” he added.
He further emphasized that, “it is duty of our young talented students to take advantage of the facilities and utilize them effectively in serving the nation in its true status,”. Dr. Imran Khan also appreciated the efforts of the PM Laptop focal persons in facilitating and issuing of total fifty-two (52) laptops from HEC portal among the talented students of the three engineering streams at UET Mardan.
