Invited Lecture on “Industry-academia linkages
On 18th May, at seminar hall, new academic block, UET Mardan, an important lecture was delivered on Industry-Academia Linkages. The honorable guest speaker Mr. Faiz Muhammad, GM Sarhad board & chemical Industry Hayatabad Peshawar, a multi experienced personality in Industry and govt sectors, shed light on the problems and issues in the way of Industry & Academia links, and their solutions. The guest speaker emphasized that the soft skills, R&D approach, selfless bent of thinking, consistent co-relations, problem-solving approach, and positivity are the key factors that in turn will pave the way towards that strong knot that heads towards success, innovation, development, societal and moral uplift and above all a strongly woven beautiful nation.
The guest speaker was accompanied by Mr. Nauman, an official of KPEZDMC Peshawar, who affirmed his full support for the UET Mardan Faculty in terms of Research projects and financial support wherever necessary.
The lecture was arranged by the office of ORIC, Director ORIC Dr. Muhammad Ali, and Industry Linkage Officer, Muhammad Asif, for the capacity building of the UETM faculty.
Finally, a shield was presented to the guest speaker by Chairman Mechanical Department UET, Dr. Shah Riaz.
