EHSAAS Undergraduate Scholarship Program (EUSP) is one of the remarkable initiatives of the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision on enabling the youngest nation in the world, a productive and self-supported growing community. In this regard, EUSP Cheques Distribution Ceremony was held at UET Mardan on Jun 3 2021 under the COVID-19 SOPs.
The event was organized by the Advisor Student Affairs section UET Mardan. Prof. Dr. Shahid Khattak, Hon. Vice Chancellor UET Mardan was the chief guest at the event and distributed Cheques among the students. A total 33 number of students were nominated for the Prime minister Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program and they received their cheques. Prof. Dr. Sadiqullah , Chairman Telecom , Dr. Shams, Chairman Computer Science and Engr. Imran Maqsood, Incharge Advisor Student Affairs were present at the occasion for encouraging the talented youth and prospective engineers.
An earning graduate is better than a degree holder alumnus with no job and UET Mardan is determined in promoting earning hands instead of shallow degree holders. UET Mardan is starting a freelancing training program in the near future so that our students would be independent in their earnings with collaborations of IT Boards and other industries. The Hon. Vice chancellor is considerate and vowed that we would provide all that facilities to our students which are available in the top-class universities of this country.
The Vice Chancellor also shed light on the billion-tree tsunami initiative of the Prime Minister Imran Khan, advising the students during the cheque’s distribution ceremony to plant trees so that our country, Pakistan, would be pollution free and green.
At the end, the Advisor Student Affairs section UET Mardan, Engr. Imran Maqsood, thanked Dr. Shahid Khattak, Honorable Vice Chancellor and other participants for attending the event and encouraging students of UET Mardan.
