E-Sports 2021
An E-Sport Event was held on November 4,2021. This event was organized by the E-Sports Society and Media Club, UET Mardan. The organizers, including, M. Mudabbir, M. Alyan, Amir Daud, Mustafa and Usama welcomed all students of UET Mardan to take part is the spectacular event and to show their skills. Lately it was graced by the Dr. Toufeeq Ahmad, Director Clubs and Engr. Jawad Ali Deputy Director Media. The guests shared their words of appreciation with all the organizers, the participants and spectators of E-Sport event. The purpose of such event is to provide the relax environment to all the students. Around 66 students take part in this event.

Ludo Star had 30 participants. Zalan and Ayesha, from Software Engineering Department managed to be on top and holding 2k prize. In Need for Speed Most wanted, 8 Participants burnt tires and spilled Gasoline. Affhan Javed from Computer Software Engineering Department drove first to the finish line - winning 500 Cash Prize. The winning PUBG Squad was led by Abdul Ahad from Electrical Engineering department. While getting maximum kills, the squad of Ahad, Hammad, Qadeer and Abu Bakar was able to clear up the Pochinki, School, Hospital and ruled Power Plant from 5 squads parachuted. FIFA 20’s winner Waqas played a knockout tournament with 7 other participants and cashed his entry by winning 1k Prize, all for himself.
On this Occasion, Engr. Jawad added that E-sports and Gaming is the need of today for almost every student for a relief from their busy study routine, hectic assignments, and class schedule. It takes less time to engage with friends and is a positive mental practice for all ages. Students of all semesters played equally well, and the presence of huge crowd showed that such events are needed time to time to enhance their active participation and cocurricular engagement.
