Rescue 1122 Safety TrainingUET Mardan
The University of Engineering and Technology arranged a one day extensive training on safety and emergency response. The training was given by District Emergency Office trainer Mr. Saadat. Later, Mr. Kamaal Shah who is currently leading the fleet of rescue 1122, Mardan’s district emergency office, as senior official, joined the session and shared his life experience.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Rescue breaths, usage of First aid kit and firefighting were the main focus of the training. Students of different batches were given opportunity to practice on the humanoid models. Later, the trainers gave hands on training on firefighting equipment such as bucket brigade, Dry Chemical Power (DCP) Cylinders, etc.
Certificates were distributed among the trainers, students, staff and faculty who actively participated in training. The Rescue 1122 staff appreciated active involvement and enthusiasm of UET Mardan for spreading awareness regarding Rescue 1122 in general public as well.
